The process of a custom piece

At Anpé Atelier, we offer a completely personalized and one-on-one customization service that revolves around unique design, exceptional craftsmanship, and the finest gemstones and diamonds. Our aim is to cultivate a creative and collaborative atmosphere where we can bring your vision of the perfect piece of fine jewellery to life.

With this service, we will guide you through every step of the process, ensuring a seamless experience. From initial design ideas and sketches to meticulous gemstone sourcing and detailed CAD renderings, we leave no stone unturned in creating a truly exceptional piece.

Our bespoke design process is designed to be efficient yet thorough, taking just a few steps to bring your vision to life. Experience the joy of owning a custom-crafted masterpiece that reflects your unique style and captures the essence of your dreams.

Custom made engagement ring

Step 1 – One on one consultation

We have an initial consultation either in person, on mail or in a video meeting where we discuss the design style you are interested in and what your wants are.

At the meeting we will also discuss the time line and your budget. We also offer a layaway programme, which you can read more about here.

Step 2 – Sourcing your gemstone

We hand select the one of a kind gemstone from our exclusive collection of gems or through our trusted gem partner, with whom we work with daily.

Once you have chosen your favorite gemstone(s) we will reserve them for a week. If you haven’t confirmed the gemstones after that amount of time, we will release them back to the stock.

Step 3 – Start designing

If you confirm the gemstone(s) in step 2, the confirmation is binding, and we invoice the first 50 % of the total price for the jewellery piece. Next step is designing. Together we will collaborate on the design process, and we will be making a sketch, CAD and renderings based on your wishes.

We are able to adjust details as per your request after – we offer two free revisions, and those thereafter are subject to designing fees.

Step 4 – Your piece is handmade

When the design is confirmed, your ring goes into creation and is being handmade by our 4 goldsmiths in Sri Lanka. It takes approximately 8 weeks to hand-make the piece for you.

If you have a deadline, please let us know at the design meeting, as we will then do our best to accommodate your wishes.

Step 5 – Receive your piece!

The best part. Your ring goes through quality inspection and is then ready to be picked up or received via FedEx – and ready to be worn for a lifetime.

Please note that all orders are shipped from Denmark. If you are from a non EU country, your invoice will not include any VAT or taxes. For all non EU orders local customs duties may apply instead and will not be included in the price.
