Tanzanite ring with diamonds

An incredible and quirky tanzanite ring made for a German customer as an engagement ring.

The customer had fallen in love with the shape of the center sapphire in the Rosa Nutana ring but wanted to use a tanzanite instead. As tanzanites are not commonly cut in fancy cuts we recut a pear shape into the desired shape and set it in a crown shaped design with VS1-TW diamonds. The metal is 18K white gold.
