What is the delivery time?

Delivery times from Anpé Atelier vary from other businesses, as most of the pieces are handmade and one of a kind – produced for the individual customer. We have three different ranges, all of which have differing delivery times. Do note that you can always tell us, if you have a deadline – most often we can work around that.

The Classic Complexity range: This range is handmade and all of the designs are completely unique. The designs can be recreated, however they will never look exactly the same as the first because larger sapphires and other gemstones are incredibly individual to one another. Delivery for this collection ranges from 5-10 days, if everything is in stock and in your size. We can have the ring changed to your size, however it might add on a few days for delivery.

The Scandinavian Simplicity range: The pieces in the Scandinavian Simplicity Collection is made per order – that means that when you place the order, we will create the specific piece for you. That usually takes 4-5 weeks. However, if you or you’re loved ones are a size 52-53, we often have one in stock in that size. In that case, delivery time is only few days. Bespoke Designs: Every single piece of Anpé jewellery is open for customization as well as can be customized from scratch. Creating a customized piece can take time, as it all depends on how fast we can find the perfect gemstone for you. Please send an e-mail, if you’re looking to create a customized piece, as the delivery time varies greatly.

How is the jewellery shipped?

The jewellery is shipped with FedEx all around the world. The package is fully insured during transport. Please note that FedEx will need a signature to hand over the package, and therefore there need to be someone present to sign for the package upon delivery. I will send you an e-mail with track & trace number, as soon as the jewellery is on its way to you.If you can’t be present to receive the jewellery, please let me know beforehand, so we can agree on another arrangement.

What is the price for delivery?

Delivery is free of charge worldwide.

Showroom in Copenhagen

Do you have a store?

No, there is not an individual Anpé Atelier store. We work mainly through booked meetings within our own office and showroom. Fine jewellery is a high involvement product, and therefor we like to focus on one on one meetings where we can discuss your jewellery dreams in an uninterrupted setting.

That being said, we have our jewellery located at few carefully selected stockists.

Can I visit your showroom?

The Anpé Atelier showroom is open for viewings by appointment only. In doing so, it is my hope to create the most personalized experience for you possible, meaning that our meeting is one on one and I can give you my full attention, so we can create the exact piece of jewellery you have in mind.

At the showroom, there will be the full Anpé Atelier collection for you to browse through, as well as our stock of individual gemstones. You will be able to browse for as long as you wish, without any interruptions.

What are the opening hours for the showroom?

I am available throughout the week and on weekends.

How do I book an appointment?

To book your appointments please get in touch on e-mail, direct message on social media or give me a call on +45 30538265.

Can I book a video meeting, if I live abroad?

For customers living abroad, I am also able to have meetings through Zoom, Facetime or other digital channels (also keep your eyes open for international pop up meetings, see below).

Pop up meetings internationally

Where do you host pop up meetings?

Anpé Pop Up meetings are meetings that are hosted in cities abroad from our office in Copenhagen. I always announce through social media that I will be hosting a pop up meeting in a specific city, and customers must book a time slot to come in.

How do the pop up meetings work?

The pop up meetings have the same concept as showroom meetings, as the time is completely one on one. This gives you peace and quiet to browse through the collection and all the gemstones, so you can choose your dream piece or get the dream jewellery created custommade.

Can you come to my city?

If you want Anpé to come to your city, you can always e-mail me, and I’ll put you on a list to make sure you’ll know as the first if we come to your city.

Gemstones and diamonds

Which stones do you use?

Anpé Atelier uses only precious and semi precious gemstones, ranging from sapphires, spinels and tourmalines to diamonds, emeralds, aquamarines, tsavorites and more.

Sapphires are a sure Anpé favorite and are very hard and durable, scoring a 9 on the Mohs Scale. This means that they are durable to wear daily in fine jewellery, when taken care of properly.

Where do Anpé gemstones come from?

Anpé Atelier works closely with our collaborator within the gem trade. We are in close contact everyday, especially when creating customized designs, as sourcing the perfect gemstone is an important part of the process.

Our gem trading partner is located in Sri Lanka. The gemstones are sourced mainly from Sri Lanka and Madagascar from mines owned by our very close collaborator. In this way we ensure that the gemstones are ethically mined and under good conditions for the people working there.

Are your diamonds conflict free?

Yes, all diamonds we use, are conflict free.

Does the jewellery come with a certificate?

All pieces in the Classic Complexity Collection come with a certificate. Most of the pieces from the Scandinavian Simplicity Collection also comes with a certificate. You can always read under each product online, if it comes with a certificate.

All customized pieces comes with a certificate.

Can I use my heirloom gemstone or diamond?

Yes, we love to give old jewellery new life. Not only is giving your new piece a wonderful, sentimental feeling, but it’s also an ethical and sustainable option for your ring. Please get in touch by e-mailing line@anpeateliercph.com to get started.

Will you use a diamond or a gemstone I have purchased somewhere else?

Unfortunately, no. We work very closely with our supplier to be sure, that all gemstones and diamonds are ethically sourced. We’re committed to ethical sourcing, and since we cannor verify the source of your purchased gemstone or diamond, we won’t set it in Anpé jewellery.

Do you work with synthetic gemstones or diamonds?

No, we don’t work with synthetic or lab-grown gemstones or diamonds. We don’t belive in artificially creating something, that Nature is already providing for us.

Metals

Which metals do you use for your jewellery?

We only work in 14kt and 18kt gold (yellow gold, rose gold and white gold) and platinum. The jewellery is stamped with the particular metal it is made from.

Do note that we don’t work with silver.

What is the difference between 14kt. and 18kt. gold?

Though they may look similar, 14kt. and 18kt. gold have a few key differences.

A majority of gold jewellery is not made of 100% gold, and instead is created from an alloy that combines pure gold with a variety of other metals. This is because gold is very soft, meaning that pure gold is easy to scuff, scratch and change shape. Pure gold is also, interestingly enough, an orange color, as opposed to the soft yellow color we normally associate it with.

Gold is measured out of a 24kt. scale. So, when something is made from 18kt. gold, that means it is 18 parts pure gold and six parts various metals. This makes the item 75% pure gold.

14kt. gold is 14 parts pure gold and 10 other parts various metals, thus making it 58% pure gold.

What is rhodium plating?

Rhodium plating is used on white gold only. It is necessary to achieve that amazing white finish on a white gold piece. Gold comes out of the ground in a yellow color, and the white color is created by using white alloys in the gold. It’s not possible to create the perfect white color in the gold, and therefor white gold gets plated with a thin coat of rhodium. Rhodium is a rare metal in same family as platinum.

When purchasing a white gold piece, please be aware that it will need a new thin coat of rhodium every now and then.

Can I use the gold from my own jewellery to create a customized piece?

If you have jewellery you aren’t wearing, you can use that to make a beautiful new customized piece. If the jewellery holds precious gemstones and/or diamond, we can repurpose those. However, we can’t use the gold in the actual customized piece, but we can offer you credit for the value and count it in the price for your customized piece.

If the old jewellery is of sentimental value for you or you just prefer to keep the gold but use the gemstones, we can take out the gemstones and return the gold to you.

Customized designs

Do you do customized work?

The short answer – Yes!

A vast majority of Anpé Atelier’s work comes from customized and bespoke designs.

There are four simple steps that make up the Anpé bespoke process, which you can read about here.

I want to make sure that my clients receive the best customer service possible, and therefor I take a personalized approach and work with you every step of the way to creating your dream Anpé design.

How does the customized process work?

The process starts by either picking the center stone or the design, you love – most often we start with the center stone, before going into details about the design. If you’re having a meeting in the showroom or at a pop up meeting you will be able to see all gemstones in person. If not, I will source and e-mail you suggestions for beautiful gems to go into your dream jewellery.

Once decided on the gemstone, we will start talking about the design. Once I have an idea of what you like and prefer, you’ll receive a sketch of the design together with a quote for the cost. If you like the design, we’ll make computer renderings of the design, so you can visualize the final result in the best way possible.

At this point, I will also send you ask for a 50 % deposit, so we can begin the production. From there, it will take approximately 4-5 weeks to finish your jewellery piece. Your balance is due upon completion, and you’ll receive a sneak peek of the final jewellery piece before shipping it to you.

How long does it take to make a customized design?

The timeline varies greatly, as it all depends on the gemstone used and the designs complexity. If we’re sourcing a rare gemstone, it can take 3-4 months, whereas if we’re working with gemstones or existing designs from the collection, it can take down to 4-5 weeks.

Always make sure to let me know, if you’re having a deadline – most often we can work around that, depending on the piece of course.

How do I pay for a customized piece?

Your customized piece will be invoiced in two terms. The first 50 % of the payment will be invoiced to you, once the center stone and design is finally picked. The remaining 50 % of the payment will be invoiced, when you’ve received a sneak peek of the finished piece. As soon as the payment has been received by us, we will ship the ring to you.

Sizing and fitting

Can you resize the jewellery if I bought it in the wrong size?

Most of the time – yes! The only time it is not possible to resize jewellery is if the resizing infringes on the stones that are set in a ring band, for example in eternity rings.

If you need resizing, there will be an additional cost of DKK 750 / USD 115 / EUR 100.

How can I get my ring size measured?

If you live in Copenhagen, you can always drop by our showroom to get your finger sized. Make sure to book first, so we know, you’re coming.

If you’re not in Copenhagen, you can drop by any local jewellery store for a free sizing.

You can also buy ring a ring sizer online, so you can measure it at home.

How do I figure out my partner’s ring size?

It can be challenging to figure out your partner’s ring size, without them knowing what you’re up to. If your partner wears rings, start by measuring the inner diameter with a vernier caliper – that will give you the most precise measurement to use to figure out the size. You can also bring the rings to a local jeweller and ask them to check the size. Just be sure to note which finger she or he is using the ring on – our fingers have each their different size, and the size seven vary from left to right hand.

Sometimes asking their friends or family can help – they might know or have an idea of the size.
